Think Thankful Thoughts
Updated: Jan 21, 2022

Happy thanksgiving, y’all! I hope that each and everyone one of you are enjoying your friends, family, and some much-needed time to relax and just be.

As I sit and reflect on all the festivities of this year…I can’t help but to be thankful for everything. Over the years I’ve gown in so many ways…from my mental/physical health, relationships, career, finances, and relationship with God. As I list them….I all I am filled with so much joy.
During my quiet time, I find myself pouring my heart out to God and expressing how thankful I am for things, such as being able to properly care for myself, having all my limbs, all my senses…the list goes on. There is someone out there who would appreciate what I take for granted therefor, I’ve learned to appreciate all that I have and share with others when and if I can.
Being thankful expands opportunity for growth and makes room for abundance. How is that? Well, think of a time when you gave something from your heart and the persons response was minimum and non -existent? I am pretty sure, you thought to yourself, “I won’t do that again”. Now, think about a time when you gave someone something and they were so appreciative and thankful. I am willing to bet that it left you feeling proud and wanting to give more.

This is exactly how it makes God feel when you show gratitude. He recognizes that you are thankful for little and therefor will bless with so much more. Of course, the focus here to be genially be thankful and not just fake it so you will receive more. Nevertheless, God knows out heart.
Moral of this post is to encourage your to be thankful on this beautiful Thanksgiving Day. Like…. seriously, take time and crate a list of all the things you are thankful for. It can be as small as being able to drive for a cup of coffee or as big as conquering cancer. Make it a habit to practice thinking thankful thoughts even beyond thanksgiving.
Thanks for stopping by to read. Sending love and hugs your way.
